Today we had an interesting visitor at our bird feeder, one I would rather not ever see as a visitor again. For those of you who know we have a bitter sweet history with our skunk friends. Last spring one snuck its way into our garage and decided to spray his putrid scent, which needless to say is like 100 times worse when you smell it up close and personal. Anyway not only did he stink up the garage but it also worked its way into the house and boy was it stinky. I just don't think this is one of the many species of wildlife that I want hanging around our house. I know though that I am in no hurry to tell him what he can and can't do, frankly around here he can probably do what he wants, lets just hope it doesn't include leaving his scent anywhere near the house again.
