The proud mama and her babies!I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything, but we have been really busy enjoying summer break! With Sydnee home it seems like the days go so much faster. We play outside all day long it seems like, just swinging and taking walks. My mom brought up Syd's battery powered car and her and Wrigley ride all over the yard and the driveway. Wrigley LOVES it but Maddux didn't like it so much. He cried and wanted out of the car pretty much as soon as we put him in there. I bet Wrigley and Syd ride around in the car for 3 or 4 hours a day sometimes. It is so cute! Another favorite is playing in the water outside. If I turn the water on for Wrigley she just plays in it until she is soaking wet. On a 90 degree day I am sure the cold water feels really good. Some more news, our gerbils who were supposedly two females gave birth to 8 babies this past week. I wasn't even aware that Lucy was pregnant, but needless to say we have added 8 new additions to the Boswell clan. The new babies are really ugly right now because they have no hair and their eyes aren't even open. They will be one week old tomorrow and they are already looking better then they did when they were first born. I am not looking forward to having ten gerbils even if it is only for 6 weeks. When the babies are big enough we will be able to sell them to the pet store but until then we have 10 stinking gerbils to take care of. Hopefully 6 weeks will go by fast!
