My favorite time of year....

This time of year is definitely the best time of year, at least for me. I just love the fall leaves and the pumpkins and seeing the farmers in the fields. It is a transition time when you realize it is going to be cold and snowing soon so I feel like I enjoy the beautiful weather we usually have in the fall, knowing winter is right around the corner. I was raking leaves yesterday and it brought back the memory of spending countless falls in Brown County horseback riding with my grandparents. My grandpa and I would ride for hours on the trails, deep in the woods. The leaves were always so vibrant there. Those are some of my favorite childhood memories and I will treasure them for the rest of my life. You know I even love the smells of fall, pumpkin pie and of course that Thanksgiving turkey, even the smell of the leaves after they have fallen from the trees. I think this is a time to be thankful for what we have been given. I know Thanksgiving is a month away but can't we be thankful all year for our blessings? I know I sure am!
