Christmas time again...already

With the passing of Thanksgiving I know it is a tradition for many to put up the Christmas decorations. Brady and I are no different...putting up the tree three days after Thanksgiving. Our tree is a bit sad, but it works. Wrigley thanks me daily for the "pretty lights" on the tree, and she loves the lights we put up outside, even though it is one strand. Oh, to be two again and see the wonder in Christmas lights...it makes putting up the tree so much more worth it. Maddux loves the tree as well, but only tearing it up. He has removed every ornament within his reach and the bottom half of the tree looks terrible, but you will have that with an 18 month old running around. We put all the breakable ones more towards the top so we could save them...he has managed to break three bulbs already so we'll see how the tree and ornaments hold up over the next three weeks or so. Christmas is such a magical time and it makes me realize the simple things like a Christmas tree can be so important!
