The call finally came in and we now have a house in the making....they laid the footer today and I could not be more excited. To be able to drive by our home site and now see something concrete (no pun intended) makes all the difference in the world. They are thinking that they will be pouring the foundation early next week and then up go the walls...I think it's in that order. I can't believe this is finally a reality...we signed the paperwork on February 14th and now a month and 5 days later we have a footer laid. What an amazingly fast process. Well I am sure with the footer laid and the foundation going in next week, we will have tons of pictures coming up of every process. With all the excitement around our house today we just had to take the whole family to see what was being done to our new house...the kids could have cared less. Sydnee loved running up and down on the big mounds of dirt, and Maddux couldn't get enough of the big rocks that were scattered throughout the dirt...he even brought home one for a souvenir. Wrigley just kept saying "where's our new house?" We tried to explain to her that our new house was where we were standing but she really didn't get it...I guess to her it is all a bit confusing. Well I will keep you posted on all the stuff going on with the house and the kids!
