They poured the driveway and the sidewalks on Monday...much to Maddux's dismay. He loved it when we had to walk in the mud to get to the front door. No more muddy shoes hopefully! We also have a closing date set...drum roll please....JUNE 5! We will be getting the keys to our brand new home five weeks from tomorrow. This whole process has been so fast and we have loved every minute of it. They finished the drywall out and did the final coat on the ceiling. They just need to spray the coat of primer and then one of paint and then they should be starting on the trim, cabinets etc. I am starting to get really sad though at the prospect of leaving the farm. This house is so perfect...except that it will never be ours. I really wish we could buy it sometime into the future but that will never be possible. I know we are just going to love our brand new home...but I will always hold the farm near and dear to my heart. We have made so many wonderful memories here and we will always be blessed by the years we called this house our home. I know that we need to start packing ASAP...moving plus Brady and I equals trouble. Nobody likes to move of course but when Brady and I move we can't seem to get on the same page. I have been praying that God will give us both tolerance while we take this important step in our lives. We are both so happy and I just can't wait to have everyone over to my BRAND NEW HOUSE....it will be here before we know it!
