Yesterday they delivered all the drywall for the whole house...they had a huge truck just filled with it. I was surprised by the sheer volume of sheets it will take to drywall our whole house, but I guess it is nearly 1,900 sq. ft. They were carrying it all in so they can begin hanging it on Monday. That should take a week or so and then on to the next step...I am not sure what that will be. They were also laying the brick on the front of the garage yesterday. That is exciting...even though Brady and I differed on which brick we should have picked I think it is going to look great. So far we have of course the framing, the roof, the rough in's for the electricity, heating, cooling and plumbing. We also have the insulation all done and the brick on the garage. All the inspections have pasted with flying colors which is a good thing! Wow it is all happening so fast...I can't believe it. I have heard people say that building a home is so stressful, but Brady and I have enjoyed it immensely. We love being able to go out everyday and see the progress on our house. So far so good...I hope the rest of the process is smooth sailing from here.
