When life gives you lemons....

I am sure that everyone has heard the phrase "When life gives you lemons..make lemonade!" Well Brady and I have so much lemonade around here lately that we don't know what to do with it...HAHA. Things just seem to go wrong all at the same time. Brady and the kids were in an accident about a week and a half ago...no worries everyone was fine.. but the van. It is currently getting repaired so in the mean time we have been borrowing cars and trucks from everyone in the Boswell family it seems....and trust me WE are so thankful from the bottom our hearts. With all that has seemed to go wrong the last couple of weeks I have let it cloud my excitement for our new house which we close on in less than three weeks. I have been reading the bible....just because there are so many words of comfort that I find within its pages, and one verse stuck out to me and made me realize just who is in control of our lives...so here it is

Then turning to his disciples, Jesus said, "So I tell you don't worry about everyday life-rather you have enough food to eat or clothes to wear. For life consists of far more than food and clothing. Look at the ravens. They don't need to plant food or harvest it, they don't put food in barns because God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not! And if worry can't do little things like that , what's the use of worrying over bigger things?"

I just think that it is so obvious that God loves us so much and even when we think life isn't going the way we would like...he still makes sure we have everything we need. It is not always easy to discern between what we need and what we want, but God hears us and reaches down and saves us right in time.
