Our little Picasso....
We battle nap time with Wrigley almost everyday. Getting her to stay in her bed and take a "rest" is like pulling teeth. The other day I put her down and to my surprise I didn't hear any movement at all from her room. I was pleasantly surprised because usually I have to trek up the stairs at least three or four times to remind her that she should be in bed not "farting" around. So the time came to go and pick Sydnee up from school so I went in to wake her up and to my surprise she had created one huge masterpiece on her walls. Brady and I are not proud of her artistic ability even if she might have a knack for it for crayon art. I was completely speechless and although we have had run ins with crayons in the past nothing like this has ever happened so we were a lot surprised to say the least. Needless to say I think that this might be common behavior for a kid her age, I remember decorating my walls as well, but with the new paint job in her room we were more than upset that she decided to showcase her art on such a large level. After a time-out we explained to her how drawing on the walls is in no way acceptable and we are hoping that from now on she will use her artistry skills on paper and not her bedroom walls.

Oh Wrigley! When I was her age I cut my own hair with crayola scissors. Let's hope her artistic skills don't branch over into origami.
the Magic Eraser is going to become your best friend! Worked for us as well!
