Last Wednesday Sydnee got her fourth karate promotion since she started seven months ago. She went from a gold belt to an orange belt and Brady and I are so proud of her. She works really hard on her karate and practices it at home all the time. It has been a good thing for her and even though I could do with less random kick moves around the house it has brought her self-esteem up and she has finally found something that she loves doing. We are taking the summer off from karate though but she is planning on starting back up in August. We all need a break from school...that is for me and Syd and then the Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule of karate. It will be nice to have a bunch of free time and nothing to do with it. Looking so forward to summer! Oh and I threw in the picture of Maddux. He loves to go to the YMCA and just run his little heart out. He runs from one end of the gym to the other and then back again. He is too cute!

I am working with Maddux on his kicking and karate moves also. Although not a true sensei, he see's my skills and wants to learn. I see him in a WWE type job some day, most likely leaping off the top ropes with a flying clothesline...
