Five years ago today Brady and I met our little Wrigley Grace for the first time. Saying that she was perfectly beautiful would be an understatement....she was gorgeous....all 6 lbs of her. She was so tiny that Brady could fit her little head in the palm of his hand. I can remember that first night that Brady and I were alone with her after everyone had left. We unwrapped her and took off her shirt and just sat there and looked at her....checking out her tiny fingers and toes. We were overwhelmed with joy and amazement looking at the product of us....God took parts of us and made this new little baby...wow! She brought Brady and I together just by being herself....this little baby made us realize just how much we loved each other. She really changed both of us because we had this little person that we adored and we realized just how important we were to each other.
Through her five years on this Earth she has brought so much joy to so many people but mainly to Brady and I. I love hanging out with her....she is so much fun. She is fiercely protective of her brother and although they squabble they are best friends. 5 years seems like such a long time but the time has truly just flown by. I know that they can't stay babies forever but as we have watched her grow I am so proud of the little girl she has become. She loves Jesus with all her heart and has a constant open dialog with him....she carries around a stuffed bear named "pepsi" who is her third best friend behind Jesus and Maddux. She is just amazing and I am so honored that I get to be her mother. Please enjoy the pictures from her birthdays past....Happy Birthday baby girl....Mommy loves you sooooo much =)
