Anyone who has been to Las Vegas can attest to the fact that there is so much to see and do without even going into a casino. Case in point....we were walking down the sidewalk on our way to The Mirage when we stumble upon Jack Sparrow....you know the captain from Pirates of the Caribbean. Well unfortunately it wasn't Johnny Depp but a man that looked so much like him that it was a little bit creepy. Back to the story. Not only is this man dressed up like a pirate he was also carrying around two boa constrictors.....they were about 8-10 feet long. The snakes were sitting on a table while "Sparrow" was getting his picture taken. I walked up and touched one...just so you know I HAVE NEVER touched a snake in my whole life. I have always been petrified of them. I don't know what possessed me to touch the snake but I was so surprised when I did that it wasn't even slimy or scaly feeling. It was so soft and you could pet it right down it's back and there were no scales or anything. So I decided that I would pay pirate boy $5 to get my picture taken with one of the snakes. He was also in the picture but the five dollars was really so I could hold the snake. I really enjoyed it....like I said they aren't as creepy as I thought. I was holding it for awhile and then it started moving around and kind of sliding on my neck....so after that I was so done holding the snake. On another note we saw the cutest little midget ever. He was dressed up like Elvis and he was so adorable. He had on all the traditional Elvis gear....right down to his sideburns. A lot of excitement....and so much fun!
