Mamma's little man....
I come from a family of all girls so when we (Brady and I) found out baby #3 was a boy I was ecstatic....I wanted a boy....really bad! I love my girls with all of my heart and I was happy for healthy babies no matter the gender but that didn't keep me from screaming out loud when the ultrasound technician said "It's a BOY!" Over the past four 1/2 years I have watched my tiny baby boy grow into an amazing little man. He is confident in himself but he is also humble. He follows the rules to the T....and gets very upset if other people aren't following them as well. He loves sports like his daddy and he is currently gearing up for his first season of tee-ball with Brady at the helm of the team. He's very athletic and can pick up on any sport really quickly. He's a lover not a fighter....he's my little peacekeeper. When the girls are fighting he is usually there to defend the one who he sees as being the underdog. He loves to cuddle with me still and I am planning on taking in every cuddle I can. He's very sensitive....all you have to do is say his name in a stern voice and he starts to cry. He loves animals and nature. He would truly live outside if we would let him....he will play outside in ANY weather either very hot or very cold and anywhere in between. He has these hysterical little faces that he makes and no matter what kind of day I am having he can always make me smile. He likes things simple and would be okay with never getting any new clothing for the rest of his life. He wears the same stuff over and over because he really likes it....this is where I have to pick my battles =) He LOVES anything sweet...I mean anything. He eats food well depending on what we're having but he will eat cake until he pukes....the boy has never met anything with sugar in it that he wouldn't eat. Simply put....he's AMAZING!!! God put a mighty soul into Maddux filled with love, laughter, grace, peace and sensitivity. I know as his mother I am very partial but I know God has big things in store for this wonderful little man. I can't wait to watch his life unravel and be there for him every step of the way.
