Thankful

Far to many times you hear the horror stories about in-laws. I mean some people actually get divorced because of the relationship their spouse has with their parents/family. So although I've never disliked my in-laws, there was still a period of adjustment that was hard on us both. The relationship I have built with them is amazing but it took a lot of hard work on both our parts. A lot of tears, hugs, more tears, more hugs and well you get it. But you know what Lisa and Mike NEVER gave up on me...NEVER. They are amazing people....truly amazing! I was blessed with Brady who is a great extension of them both but I think God knew I needed them in my life as well. This might sound silly but Lisa is my best friend.....she's my confidant and my biggest cheerleader. She has held me up when I couldn't stand on my own and she has listened to me confess things that were hard for her to hear....but she listened and talked me through it all while loving me still! I love her more than I could ever express in this lifetime! Our relationship is solid....so very solid! They are there....whenever we need them they are both always there. I am blessed beyond measure with my in-laws.....truly, utterly blessed! I love you both so much! Thanks for all you do!
