A day at the zoo......

Up close to a lion....
and a polar bear.

We decided to take advantage of the Lincoln Park Zoo, which is all free. No catch. We were surprised by how nice it was and how many neat animals they had considering it was free. We spent a whole day there and didn't even get to see it all. We were really close to a lion and a polar bear, not to mention the large gorilla we saw as well. I love animals so this was right up my alley but Brady enjoyed it too. I can't imagine why I would ever pay to go into a zoo again when this one is nice, clean and free. I would definitely make a trip back to this zoo if I am in Chicago again on a nice day! It is so funny though that there is a large zoo in the middle of such a large city, but you would never know you were in Chicago when your in the zoo walking around. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there were so many little kids there and it made me miss mine, but overall it was a fun day at the zoo.
