I have a secret talent that many people who know me don't realize I have and it is that I can carve a mean pumpkin. I use the book of patterns so I am not free handing the carving, but still my pumpkins usually turn out really good. This year I did a raccoon coming out of a pumpkin per Sydnee's request. The picture is of the pumpkin lit up and I thought it turned out pretty good. I tried my hand at painting and wasn't as pleased with the painted pumpkin as much as I was the carved one. I am not trying to toot my own horn but I love to carve pumpkins and it is something Brady is amazed with every Halloween. On this note I thought I would share with you our pumpkins from this year. While I am on the subject of myself I thought I would update you on some other things that have been going on with me. First off I have B's in both of my classes at midterm which I am really happy about. I have been stressed wondering how I would carry the load of school and motherhood, but it is working out okay. Also I have lost 5 pounds since I joined a gym and have been working out about 3 times a week. My jeans are even fitting just a bit loose, which is better then them being tight. I am so glad that I have been able to juggle going to work out into my busy schedule, I just feel so much better when I am working out. Well enough about me, I know the kids are more interesting but it's okay once in a while to talk about myself I suppose. I promise to have Halloween pictures up sometime this week since I think we are going Trick-or-Treating sometime in the middle of the week so keep checking back.
