I was just wanting to let everyone know how proud I am of my sister Kaitlan. She is officially out on her own since Saturday. She is working full time, going to school full time, and keeping her sanity while she does it. I am so proud of you Kait Kait (which Wrigley calls her). Thinking of you made me look up this poem I once read and it goes like this:
Sisters, We are a strange little band of characters trudging along through life, sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's clothes, hiding each others shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and then kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bonds us together.
This is so true of the way I feel for my sisters. I am proud of both of them and I love you both very much. There is no two people in the world I would have rather grown up with.
