Yesterday we officially had our pre-drywall meeting with our construction manager, Fred. We went through the whole house and we got to see all of the electrical, plumbing and hvac(the heating and cooling system) rough-in's. It was so amazing to see all the work they have done in less than a month. I don't know if everyone who builds a house is so amazed but every time Brady and I go there we just can't believe that one day soon we will be lounging in our amazing master suite, with our gigantic garden tub (which I am the most excited about). The tentative closing date at this point has been moved back a bit to June 10th...but that is just fine with us. We are going to have a little more time to pack and get everything ready. Our hope is to be in and have everything ready in our new house by around Wrigley's birthday so that we can have her party there...YEAH! They were roofing the house yesterday, and they were going to do the brick on the front of the garage either today or tomorrow, so we are moving right on schedule. Next week they start drywall and Fred said that could take 7-10 days so that may slow the progress a bit, but June is right around the corner and it will be here before we know it, so we are just enjoying the farm right now as long as we're here.
