Today we watched as they put up the second floor of our new house...and it was really awesome . They have a crane that they are using to put up the rafters and Maddux thought that was so neat...of course he loves anything that is loud or involves mud, dirt or rocks. He is truly all boy! Anyway they put in the stairs and they have the second floor finished, now they just have to set the rafters and the framing will be nearly done. A crew of eight has framed our whole house up in about three days time...that is an amazing feat! The kids love running around the house...it is fun to be able to go around and see what rooms will be where. I still can't believe the speed in which things are coming together...it is really amazing to watch. We stood there today for like 45 minutes and just watched them work...I don't know how the guys working on the house felt about that but we don't want to miss a single step. There is still a long way to go, but everyday we are getting a little closer...only two more months and we will be enjoying that new Magnolia.
