For the occasion of Maddux turning three we of course had a party for him. We celebrated at Mimi and Papaw's house because Maddux wanted to have a campfire party. He loves it when Papaw has a campfire and I think it's because he gets to be outside which is probably his favorite thing in the world. Thanks to Brad and Kristin Maddux got his first bulldozer and he was loving it. He played in the pea gravel around the swing set for about an hour completely ignoring his party guests...I guess that's how it goes when your three. After good food and great fellowship Maddux opened his presents and then came time for the cake. You gotta love kids and the funny things they do....when it came time for Maddux to blow out his candles he decided to spit on the candles to blow them out! I think it was just an accident on his part but it sure got plenty of big laughs. Overall it was a great party and thanks to Mimi and Papaw again for opening up their home to all the party goers...I know we sure appreciated it...especially Maddux!
