An Easter celebration worthy of a King....

Our church service yesterday was absolutely amazing. My father-in-law refers to Pastor Steve's sermons as home runs and I completely agree with that. He just reaches into my heart and touches parts of my soul that I never even knew were there. Yesterday he preached about how as Christians we sometimes stifle our faith because we are afraid of the "establishment." Choosing to be a Christian is a very personal choice but sharing that choice with everyone we meet is sometimes hard to do. There are many who unfortunately don't know the peace and grace that God can provide. It is what we do in the situations that we come into with people who don't believe that matter. Religion is a fine line to walk....just like politics. Many are very stanch in their beliefs and they don't care or want to hear what you have to say about God and his salvation. Choosing to take these opportunities to share God with others is a great honor. I can't change every unbeliever that I come into contact with but by wearing my faith in Jesus not just on the inside but on the outside as well means I might just change one mind....one heart. We are Jesus' hands and feet on this Earth. He scooped up my heart and molded it into what he wanted it to be and because of him I know I will change the heart of someone else. I am a chosen one....chosen to do his work on this Earth. What an honor!
