On our little excursion we stayed at two separate bed and breakfasts....one was more hotel like and one was just an old farm house that had 5 rooms and even an outdoor shower....yeah an outdoor shower! The first one had a huge king sized bed which was out of the norm for us...we still sleep in a full size bed. But besides the bed there was an outdoor whirlpool and hiking trails and even a little pond. It was nice and secluded and we enjoyed it a lot. The other bed and breakfast was more of a homestead. It was a 100 year old farm house and they had kept all the luster of the old times while decorating the house. The floors were all painted wood...even peeling a bit and the bath tubs were the old claw foot kind. They also had this outdoor shower and by outdoor I mean you have 4 wood walls and that is it. The walls aren't even that tall and there is no roof. I went out and took a shower at about 11 o'clock the night we were there and truthfully it was a bit creepy. But I guess it is a cool idea. Both of the bed and breakfast's were nice and we enjoyed them...we would love to go back sometime and stay again!
