On Sunday Brady and I went to a Cubbies game....but this time we did it roof top style. We have always wondered what it would be like to sit up on one of the roof tops across the street from Wrigley and we finally got the chance. It was one price for the seat...the food and by food I mean hot dogs, polish sausages, brats, gigantic cheeseburgers, and chicken sandwiches. Brady ate one of each and this didn't really surprise me. Also included was all the beer, wine, or Pepsi you could drink. It was really cool....no lines for the bathroom....no 7 dollar beers.....no 6 dollar Chicago dogs. The one drawback was that you aren't actually in the stadium....you miss the greatness that is Wrigley Field. Walking into the stadium always makes me happy even though I have been there like 10 times. But we did have so much fun. I made friends with a couple that were also up on the rooftop with us and they were really nice. There were 4 Cardinals fans but the rest of us were all Cubbies fans. The one great thing was that my favorite player ever, Carlos Zambrano was pitching and he also hit a home run...which I was so happy to be there to see. And even better was that the Cubs beat the Cardinals and we got to sing "Go Cubs Go." It is always so much better to be there for a win but anytime you get to spend at Wrigley is great! We loved it and had so much fun...I would recommend it if you are ever going to a game!
