Pre-School....I just can't stand it....
Yesterday Wrigley started her first day of pre-school....it seems like just yesterday that she was a tiny baby and although she is still really tiny she is old enough now to go to pre-school two days a week. I dropped her off yesterday and she didn't even make a fuss at all....which made me a bit sad, I didn't want a huge dramatic scene but maybe a little tear...nothing. She was unaffected that I even left her. Maddux and I came home and I can't remember the last time that him and I were alone...with out Wrigley that is, and he kept looking around saying "nobody home." He didn't seem to be that troubled he just played and played like he was the only child...and I am glad to have some free time with him because that never happens. Well Brady came home for lunch so he could go with Maddux and I to pick up Wrigley....we get there and she is not in the outfit we sent her in. Our immediate thought was that she had an accident and had to have her clothes changed but her teacher immediately assured us that she hadn't had an accident but merely feel into the toilet. We were like "What," and her teacher said that she was helping another little girl in the next stall and Wrigley just fell in. She was soaked and had to put on clothes that were to big for her...she is after all still in 18 month old clothes at 3 years old. She looked like a little orphan kid (hence the top picture)...and it was really funny. I can just imagine her legs sticking up out of the toilet....she was on the other hand not in a laughing mood. She kept saying "it is not funny." So with that we left it alone. Overall aside from the toilet incident she did very well....she loves her teacher Mrs. Beth...who I might add is her new best friend and although she couldn't remember any names she said all the kids were nice and I am glad she had fun. I know everyone says this about their kids but Wrigley is truly very smart...and I think she will thrive in pre-school.
