Science at work in the Boswell house...

I can remember as a young kid planting seeds in small Styrofoam cups and it was so cool to see them grow everyday when we went to school so I thought the idea of planting some seeds and seeing them grow would be a great experience for the kids. I let Maddux and Wrigley pick out the seeds they wanted to plant and Maddux went for some pretty flowers...pink and red, and then Wrigley decided very adamantly that she wanted sunflowers....mainly because she is convinced that Mimi loves sunflowers so much. Unfortunately we could only find a package of mammoth sunflowers which according to the package will get about 6 to 8 feet tall. I tried to talk her out of it, but she just thought Mimi would love them. So currently in my kitchen we have seeds growing in the window so they can get sun.....now the big if is when or even if they will start to grow....hopefully they will!
