Today at pre-school Wrigley celebrated her "happy day" which is really just a fake birthday party for her since her birthday is in the summer and they aren't able to celebrate it like they do for the other kids. Brady and I went and I read a story to the kids then we all got in a circle and sang Wrigley the happy birthday song. The cutest part was when she went around the circle and blew out all the candles which were her classmates. When she blew on them they fell to the ground and it was really cute and funny. She also got to wear the birthday hat complete with candles and then she carried around a stuffed cake. She was so excited that today was her special day! I can't believe that she has nearly finished her first year of pre-school already...I feel like time flies by so fast. Next year we will have both Wrigley and Maddux in pre-school and I think that might be a tear jerker for mommy the first day I drop them both off. Kids grow so fast...I just can't believe it! But for now I am looking forward to enjoying a great summer with them and just hanging out. It will be a well deserved couple of months off for all of us!
