This family is a hot mess this week....four out of five of us are on antibiotics and three out of five of us have bronchitis....sounds like fun huh! Wrigley was running a temp on Tuesday and then complained of an earache. First thing Wednesday morning I took her to the doctor and she did indeed have an ear infection....a really bad one. The poor little thing had a blister on her eardrum....she felt awful. Later on Wednesday I went to the doctor as well and am now taking an antibiotic for bronchitis. Crazy thing is....I had a blister on my eardrum as well. I have never heard of this and then Wrig and I both have it in the same ear at the same time....weird. Yesterday Maddux and Sydnee went to the doctor too and they both have antibiotics they're taking for sinusitis (Maddux) and bronchitis (Sydnee). Hopefully we will all kick this soon so we can disinfect this house that is full of germs.
Next Monday I will officially be employed by the VA. I start orientation at 7:30 AM and am looking forward to getting started finally. I am still amazed that God has opened this door for me. I pray he calms my nerves and gives me clear mind to go in and learn what I need to learn. I also pray for compassion....that I can work with integrity and do the best I can to make my patients feel well cared for while I'm there. God is already ahead of me preparing a way that will lead me where he wants me.
Now I'm going to enjoy the rest of my weekend with my wonderful family and meditate on God's voice....listening quietly for as long as it takes to put my mind at ease.....God has
