13 years ago today God blessed me with a beautiful, perfect baby girl. On her original birthday I found a love I had never known until then. I met for the first time this tiny little person who had been growing inside me for over 9 months. Until March 31, 2001 I never knew unconditional love. I never felt so strongly tied to one person on this Earth. I never knew I could be so amazed by a tiny little baby. God knew I needed her. Because of her I am the person I am today.

So here are 13 fun facts about my Sydnee Abigaille's original birthday to celebrate her 13th birthday
1) She weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. My biggest baby
2) She was delivered via a midwife at 1:32 PM.
3) My labor with her was all natural....no IV's, no epidurals, no pain medication.
4) She was 9 days overdue.
5) She shares her birthday with my aunt Jean who died before she was born.
6) She didn't really cry when she came out....just whimpered a bit.
7) After she was born the nurse put her onto my chest and she looked at me wide eyed.....she was so alert.
8) She was perfect.....NO misshapen head, NO redness, NO bruising.
9) There were around 15 people waiting in the waiting room to meet her for the first time
10) I didn't have a for sure named picked out for her but she looked like a Sydnee to me
11) She had some jaundice and looked really yellow by day 2....they did so many blood tests on her
12) She was discharged from the hospital on April 3 as they had kept her in the hospital an extra day to watch her jaundice
13) There were 42 additional babies born the three days we were at the hospital with her

So Syd I hope you have a wonderful day! Your amazing and I am SO proud and honored that you call me mommy!
